Speculations I Is Out

I’ve only started reading it this afternoon, but it looks very nice (and reads very well as well). I was initially afraid that this would be some kind of self-publishing pet project of Graham Harman fandom, but it’s actually not at all. In fact, Harman’s presence is rather minimal (which is always a good thing). Hopefully his hissy fit concerning the journal (i.e. his dramatic withdrawal of “The Journal of Object-Oriented Ontology” subtitle) will result in more diverse contributions from a greater number of speculative perspectives in the future.

So less objectology and more speculativology, I say.

  1. ME: his withdrawal of “The Journal of Object-Oriented Ontology” subtitle.

Kvond: Didn’t hear the As The World Turns on that, but no doubt it had something to do with the withdrawal of a gooey sensuous center.
