Ok, so since this is a joint exercise and as a truly argumentative (and for the most part belligerent) bunch, after hours of heated discussion and ad hominem attacks, we have decided that each of us would post his/her own definition of what this blog is about. Here comes:

Mikhail Emelianov: I’m currently fighting the good fight in a foreign but soon to be free country - will certainly write what this blog is about as soon as I get back [whistling of bullets, distance cries of agony, chirping of an exotic bird near by]. Generally, I like to write about that which is under my nose at any given moment, so no real system, just a narcissistic enjoyment of seeing my own name on the internets…
This blog is about whatever we deem to be interesting to discuss with each other, be it philosophy or culinary science - love it or leave it!
